We discussed the evolution of fashion and how social media, particularly Instagram, has changed the way every day Joes and Janes look at and experience fashion.

PROFILE #004: JOHN T. TRIGONIS, Storymaker & Crowdfunding Zen Master

EPISODE SUMMARY

In this episode titled Crowdfunding Your Passion to Profit, we brought on EIGHTY's very own Head of Distribution & Marketing John T. Trigonis who's also crowdfunding's Zen Master, Indiegogo's Film and Creative Campaign Strategist, and author of Crowdfunding for Filmmakers, to show you the "Way" to a successful campaign.

We also brought on Lloyd Ortuoste, owner of Jersey City's only banana pudding desserterie, Baonanas for a crowdfunding workshop. Lloyd ran a crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter in August of last year to raise money for a new commercial kitchen. The campaign was unfortunately unsuccessful so they are planning to relaunch an Indiegogo campaign this spring and John critiqued his draft campaign and gave him strategies and tips on how to be successful in their second try.
